The Bear and I recently enjoyed our own girl’s coffee morning, so she absolutely loved channeling her inner barista. You just need to insert the batteries and connect the handle, that’s it, job done, and ready to use in under two minutes. The perfect role play toy, kids will love pretending to be a real barista and creating cafe creations for their friends and family.

You can even use a variety of different milks to make your drinks including regular, low fat, cold lactose free, almond and soy milk. Create chocolate and strawberry drinks with frothy foam, and top off with stenciled designs to make latte art like a barista. Her machine is set up in the kitchen next time mine, and when it’s “coffee-time” she dips into the kitchen and makes her favourite strawberry with chocolate sprinkles Frappuccino all on her own. Once milk is frothed with chocolate or strawberry flavored powder in the Barista Bar, kids place the stencils on the frothed milk and shake the provided chocolate or strawberry powder over them to create designs. My kids played cafes together for ages and wanted to make everyone drinks and practice their latte art skills using the stencils and then going freehand and getting creative too.Inspired by the current coffee culture, the Creative Café Barista Bar is kid safe and even works without heat. Just put in the powder, mix with milk, turn on the frother and youre making drinks like a professional barista!

Children will love mixing their cold drinks with the strawberry and chocolate flavoured powder mixes, frothing them with the safe milk frothing mixer, and finishing them off with dazzling stencilled designs! Both my children have always loved their play kitchen and have spent years making me cups of tea and coffee. The kit includes a frothing pitcher, mixing tools, flavor mixes, and more; all kids need to add is milk. The set contains recipe/instruction cards for the children to follow so they can make different flavoured drinks.

Each fun set comes with three stencils in hearts and swirl shapes to decorate beverages with “latte” art. You can use any flavoured powder for your base mix as well as for the topping for your finished creation. Then you add more milk to the jug (there are lines on the jug to help children realise where to fill the jug to) pop it back into the machine and froth the milk. So, when we were asked to review the new at home Creative Cafe Barista Bar, I knew Alyssa would be excited… I just didn’t realise HOW excited!
