Minehead U10s football teams played four matches against Bridgwater Wolves on Saturday 1st December. Minehead started the morning slowly and even solid defence from Riley Wild and several long range shots by Tyler Hetherington couldn't prevent Bridgwater Wolves scoring an early goal. The second half saw Bridgwater Wolves continue to attack with Will “The Cat” Sealby making several saves, before Bridgwater managed to make their pressure count, sending them on to a first game win 5-0.
Minehead U10s football teams played four matches against Bridgewater VPR on Saturday.
Minehead under 15s travelled to Tiverton on Sunday to face Moors Youth and came away with a convincing 0-12 victory.
South West Cerebral Palsy United Football Club hosted a fundraising an awareness day on Saturday at the fantastic facilities of Elmwood School /1610 in Bridgwater with £275 being raised on the day.
Minehead F.C. were pleased to support the event and sent two teams to take part, the under 15s and under 10s. Under 15s coach Adrian Shopland who has two of his sons Jake and Theo both playing for the South West Cerebral Palsy United F.C. with Jake also playing for Minehead under 10s would like to thank all the parents and boys for their help and support in helping to make the event a special day for all.
