About this deal

Even with the massive questline required to obtain it, as well as the fact that you can kill yourself while using this weapon, the reward is well worth it. As you'd imagine, with the healing grenades, rifts, and wells that also exist in Destiny now, this is a really strong weapon. As you might already know, A Touch of Ruin, the second book in this series, ended on a serious cliffhanger: just as Hades proposes marriage to Persephone, Demeter screws with the weather, making it start to snow, bringing about the promise of war. The Olympians decide to intervene and PersephonE suddenly finds that the ancient gods are in control of her future, divided as they are.

this is a case where it actually could have been much better, and that there was potential in the plot and characters that ultimately went to waste. Touch of Malice is an exotic scout rifle obtained through collecting Calcified Fragments and fighting bosses in King's Fall. This life-stealing scout rifle is from the original game's Taken King expansion, and it has a pretty thematic ability. If you want Touch of Malice, you’re unfortunately going to need to kill Oryx each week until you get lucky. At the entrance, she just so happens to find Hecate, and barely manages to speak with her before everyone comes bursting in.I loved the side characters like always and thought they were really interesting in here but characters like Lexa, In my opinion started to become more one dimensional again which made me a bit sad since I expected her to be very important by the ending of the second book. Anyhow maybe because I went into this with the lowest of expectations, I ended up enjoying it more than I expected. They are just waiting and hoping that she will make a mistake so that they can swoop in and take her to the greenhouse prison.

The gods can’t decide if they should go to war against Demeter, allow the marriage between Hades and Persephone to proceed or forbid it and take up arms to fight the gods of the dead. Instead, all of the plot was squashed into the last 10-12% of the book, which made things beyond confusing. not to mention the fact that this sentence, "Persephone’s magic erupted, thorns rose from gashes in the marble, sealing exits. Now, the whole time, while I was reading this, I was wondering, so they're in a hostage situation, right?
