About this deal

Bespoke Crusade rules providing new Agendas, Requisitions, Battle Traits, Honorifics, and Crusade Relics that are unique to the Adeptus Mechanicus If a Forge World does not have an associated dogma, you must create one for them. To do so, select one Primary and one of its associated Secondaries from Distant Forge Worlds. The effect of each is determined by the type of part you used and the type of power source. There are 6 different power sources, each with 3 possible effects based on what kind of part they slot into, and there are 6 different parts in each category. This means that there are 36 possible combinations per part type, for a total of 108 different contraptions your tech priests can assemble for use.

Codex: Adeptus Mechanicus (10th Edition) - Warhammer 40k

This is an odd one and takes some army building calculus. If you take a Tech-Priest Enginseer and have him lead a unit of Electro-priests, then they do not gain Doctrina Imperatives. However, the Enginseer may additionally be bodyguarded by a unit of Servitors, which do have the Doctrina Imperatives ability. That ability then affects the whole unit, which means the Electro-priests gain the benefit. Like any good conclave of fanatical worshippers, the Adeptus Mechanicus cannot agree on how best to worship the Machine God of Mars, and their many sects each have their particular way of veneration through the act of war. Prior to releasing the new T’au Empire book, GW published a string ofreveals outlining much improved subfaction rules for the six different T’au Septs, as well as totally reworked rules for the Mont’ka and Kauyon Tactical Philosophies; Crusade narrative rules including options for something called ‘diplomacy’; and an array of terrifyingly up-powered ranged weaponry(with accompanying Relics) that, by all accounts, are Making T’au Shooting Scary Again. Like the others, it’s full of army-specific datasheets, rules, and bespoke Crusade content for the Death Guard, the vile, disgustingly resilient sons of the dread Daemon Primarch Mortarion. Regardless of army composition, these units always gain the benefits of the Doctrina Imperative you choose at the start of each battle round. The Sydonian Skatros is a sinister sight – stalking into position on its stilt-like legs before standing deathly still, a living cyborg watchtower that scans the battlefield for targets. It’s a perfectly engineered sniper, and little escapes its all-seeing achillan eye and fine-tuned elimination protocols. The 9th Edition Space Marines codexwas released on October 10, 2020, so it’s available now. There is also a special Collector’s Edition available, if you fancy it.

Codex: Adeptus Mechanicus - 10th Edition - Adeptus Ars

Secretive to a standard that’s off-putting even to other devotees of the Machine Cult, the Tech-Priests of Stygies VIII keep their deeds and motivations close to their metallic chests. They also make use of mysterious (some may say forbidden) technologies to mask their movements and scramble enemy scanners and sensors. Skitarii Marshals are often tasked with leading small Crusade armies – so they’ve been granted access to some interesting Battle Traits to enhance their efficiency. Each time you upgrade a SKITARII RANGERS or SKITARII VANGUARD unit, its Power Rating is increased, as shown in the table to the right. If you are playing a matched play game, or a game that uses a points limit, then the points value of that unit is also increased by the amount shown in the same table. Make a note on your army roster (or that unit’s Crusade card) each time you upgrade a unit using these rules.Space Marines • Chaos Space Marines • Grey Knights • Death Guard • Astra Militarum • Adeptus Mechanicus • Craftworlds • Tyranids • Dark Angels • Blood Angels • Chaos Daemons • Adeptus Custodes • Thousand Sons • T'au Empire • Necrons • Drukhari • Deathwatch • Harlequins • Imperial Knights • Space Wolves • Gellerpox Infected • Elucidian Starstriders • Orks • Genestealer Cults • Vanguard Space Marines • Daemonkin • Chaos Space Marines II • Chaos Knights • Space Marines II • Adepta Sororitas

Priests With Finger Guns Using These Crusade Arm Your Tech-Priests With Finger Guns Using These Crusade

Collecting stuff is often the end goal for obsessive Tech-Priests. But if you hoard enough pieces, you can begin assembling a huge assortment of Archeotech Treasures like new weapons, protective devices, and equipment of a more esoteric nature. The upgrades themselves are generally good to great. Plasma weapons becoming overcharge-proof is wonderful, and the other option of “making an extra shot when stationary” isn’t bad either. On a unit of Plasma Kataphrons, you won’t be able to get both, but it’d be hard to be upset about rolling for either. The real sauce might be Carbines getting to advance and shoot without the -1 to hit, and also fire in Engagement Range (albeit at -1). These seem to have been designed with the Consecrated Upgrade requisition in mind, as many of them seem decent on a Skitarii sergeant or tech-priest, but become outrageously desirable when they can be applied to an entire unit.

Datasheets

Control Cortex: You can determine one Skitarii Warlord Trait for this model. This model is only regarded as your WARLORD for the purposes of that Warlord Trait, unless it is also selected as your WARLORD. Each Warlord Trait in your army must be unique (if randomly generated, re-roll duplicate results), and this model cannot have more than one Warlord Trait. This does not apply to Auxiliary Support, Super-heavy Auxiliary, or Fortification Network Detachments. When the Shroudpsalm Canticle becomes active for your army, you can choose to use this techno-arcana. If you do so, until the end of the battle round, this piece of techno-arcana is active and, until the end of the battle, no other piece of techno-arcana from your army can be used.
