The torque of the pneumatic motor is multiplied by the compact high-performance planetary gearbox. The standard reaction arm carries the full torque of the reaction. Customized reaction arms (TWIN reaction arm, rotating foot) can be delivered based on customer needs.
The necessary torque values, bolt dimensions, and bolt quality are displayed during input with the pushbutton of the user. In the case a customer uses different assembly stations the menu of the EDS can be changed according to each station. The microchip will be programmed for each individual station.
The EDS maintains continuous control of the tightening process and automatically adjusts the rotational speed according to the application. Nut runners and nut drivers may be produced, tested, and used based on various standards. Example standards include: For tightening and loosening bolt connections from M10 - M60, 250 Nm to 14,000 Nm. Operated by air power - ideal for places where no electrical power is available or is not permitted like the oil and gas industry.
