About this deal

A very good introduction to the Seerah. After watching some informative films, series and lectures, I really wanted to get into its reading materials. I wanted to start of with the Sealed Nectar but decided to go with this book as it is a little lighter and can potentially prepare you for the other more renowned works. Not to mention it had the endorsement of Mufti Menk. It is in that regard, that this book did a really great job and is a really good starting point for children. Hence why, owning a physical copy of this book for your household is a must. For that and also the author explicitly has asked to not make PDF copies for distribution, which we as muslims should honour. I would liken this book's style to Shaykha Fatima Barkatullah's book on Khadijah (ra); in fact, the two would make excellent companion books!

Muslims all over the world claim to love the last prophet, Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him), more than their own lives, but to be honest, no one truly loves Him since what he stated via his teachings and what he did practically are not mirrored in the Muslim character in our days. So (O Prophet!) it is owing to the great mercy of Allâh that you are gentle towards them. Had you been harsh, hard-hearted, they would have certainly dispersed from around you; hence pardon them and ask protection for them, and consult them in matters (of administration), and when you are determined (after due consultation), put your trust in Allâh. Verily, Allâh loves those who put their trust in Him.” Many academics have devoted their work to both types of writings equally from the 8th and 9th centuries. According to certain historians, the Seerah and Maghazi literature is a subset of Hadith. Al Sira Al Nabawiyya PDF It’s quite incredible when you think about it, that this book and many others like it are all written about a man who did not know how to read or write. The Prophet Muhammad is the most influential and loved human being to have ever walked the face of this earth. The things that he said and did over fourteen hundred years ago still impact the lives of billions around the world today. Seerah lifts our spirits and instills love in the hearts of the Muslim community all around the world. To put it another way, it inspires us to love and care for Muslims who live far from our current location. While Seerah Of Prophet Muhammad is a collection of tales concerning specific incidents in the prophet’s life.

We come to the Seerah to learn about Islam and our Last Prophet, Muhammad (PBUH). To Better Understand the Quran Using captivating storytelling to present an overview of the key events in the life of the Messenger ﷺ , The Simple Seerah is a unique series that makes the biography of the Messenger ﷺ more accessible and easy to understand. Although the series was produced with children in mind, it appeals to a wide audience, including teenagers and those who may not have studied the Seerah before. There are many examples of the Prophet’s characteristic of staying away from the riches or material goods of this world. One is such:Sirat Rasul Allah, also known as as- sira al-nabawiyya, refers to the study of Muhammad’s life. The term seerah was initially associated with Muhammad’s life by Ibn Shihab al-Zuhri and was soon adopted by Ibn Hisham’s writings. While there are many resources available for English-speakers to learn about the Prophet ﷺ, much of the literature can be dense with information and facts. This can be disengaging for a younger or non-academic crowd who are often only engaged when information is conveyed in a more compelling, straightforward manner.

With a rush of cool air, distant lands rolled by in a mesmerising display. They sped past Yathrib and beyond Khaybar. With each leap, the pain and difficulty from the Year of Sadness became more distant as they speared through the night towards Jerusalem, the same direction the Prophet and his followers turned to while praying.” We must shift our focus from his domestic life, as important as it is, to the difficult tasks and heavy burdens of the battlefields of Badr, Uhud, Khaybar, and Hunain. We must see him as a Messenger as well as a religious leader and a commander. Only then can he become both our “model” and the “greatest of exemplars.” What are the characteristics of Prophet Muhammad?I will not give up five habits as long as I live: To eat sitting on the ground with slaves, to ride on a pony without a saddle, to a milch goat with my own hands, to wear coarse woolen cloths, and to greet children, so that it may become a popular habit after me and people follow suit”.
