About this deal

Timeline is a science fiction novel by American writer Michael Crichton, published in November 1999. It tells the story of a group of history students who travel to 14th-century France to rescue their professor. A project timeline template is a pre-made model of a timeline that you can customize with your own data to chronologically display events and activities involved in a project.

Beyond the clarification of clerical errors or canonization, The Marvel Cinematic Universe - An Official Timeline has been bold enough to solidify one of the most important events to happen in recent years to the MCU. At the end of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, the spiraling Scarlet Witch destroys the mystical Mount Wungadore, collapsing it upon herself. Though the collapse seems fatal, many fans called the off-screen death a bluff, not believing such a powerful being could perish in this way. The first settlers in Mesopotamia were known for making clay tablets on which they made markings using a triangle-ending instrument called the calamus, which was essentially the stem of the reed plant that had been sharpened to a point.I haven’t actually read either of these, but as Darius points out in this interview Revenant Crusade is set post-Great Rift, after the events of The Devastation of Baal. Meanwhile the synopsis for City of Light specifies that it’s set “deep in Imperium Nihilus”. If you want to continue exploring the Blood Angels, these seem worth having on your list (see the Blood Angels list earlier for where they fit in the timeline). NOTE: until such time as BL produces an official resource, I’ll do my best to keep this reading list up to date with new releases as and when they’re published. This version of the article was created in January 2021, but I’ve added books in here and there along the way – the last minor update was in August 2022.

International Technology Corporation, ITC, headed by the brilliant but abrasive Robert Doniger, has invented a new method of time travel based on quantum technology. Like in most of Crichton’s books, the company merely wishes to profit from this and will do anything, even break the law, to do so. Why is it that, in Crichton’s world, only greedy, unethical companies headed by greedy, unethical white men like Doniger come up with the best stuff? Read my review of Ghost Warrior or my Rapid Fire interviews with Gav about Ghost Warrior and Wild Rider. What else? Stern and the ITC employees repair the transit pad just in time for the historians' return. Marek, who has always wanted to live in the Middle Ages, decides to stay behind, while Chris, Kate, and Johnston return to the present. So I began to think: suppose it was really possible to travel in time. What would it be like? Would it be frightening? (I think it would be.) Would it be more dangerous than space travel? (Much more dangerous.) What would make you go anyway?

More Detail

In northern Arizona near Corazón Canyon, a married couple driving through the desert encounter an elderly man. They take him to a hospital in Gallup, New Mexico. Hospital staff learn that he works for the company ITC. After he suddenly dies, an MRI reveals that he had unexplainable abnormalities in his blood vessels. In Egypt, people extracted the marrow from papyrus reed stems. Then, they went through a process in which they humidified, pressed, dried, glued, and cut the material into sheets, with the best reserved for sacred writing. The codex was more compact and easier to carry around than the scroll. The early Christians were said to use this type of document when sharing the gospels in foreign lands. When Was the First Book Invented?

Technically speaking then, The Devastation of Baal probably also fits into the timeline at some point after the events of the Dark Imperium books (now that they’re being adjusted to take place earlier on in the crusade) and The Great Work …but for the sake of ease I’ve included it here. The first two novels were originally set at the tail end of the Indomitus Crusade, but no longer! The long-awaited book 3 – Godblight– has now been released, alongside update editions of the first two books which have been adjusted so that they now take place during the crusade, rather than at its conclusion. I haven’t personally read Godblight or the new editions of books 1 and 2, but it doesn’t sound like the tweaks are massive beyond that adjustment in the timeline. The very concept of time travel makes no sense, since time doesn’t flow. The fact that we think time passes is just an accident of our nervous systems— of the way things look to us. In reality, time doesn’t pass; we pass. Time itself is invariant. It just is. Therefore, past and future aren’t separate locations, the way New York and Paris are separate locations.” These wedge-like writings, created by the calamus in moist clay, are known as cuneiform. After etching figures onto the clay, the Mesopotamians used fire to dry the tablets out. Building a project timeline can be rather difficult and time consuming. Templates help you save time and energy, providing you with a predefined structure for your tasks and milestones. A project timeline template will simplify the work of creating a clear schedule of your project, needing only minor data editing.
