When the main character goes off to fight in World War I, it becomes a saga of the horrors of trench warfare, akin in its graphic depictions to Fields of Glory by Jean Rouaud. On top of all this, the book is also akin to a historical novel describing the brutal life of the various immigrant groups that were serfs/slaves on the island's sugar plantations in the early 1900's. It kept my attention and I learned a lot from it.

Adjustment: When there are both Survivors and Hunters within the effective range of the Magnet, Hunters will be prioritized. However, Buzz and his fr ie nd s arrive in the apartment room to save Woody from being sold. Buzz leaves Woody to contemplate his decision, saying he would never be loved again if he spent eternity behind glass. Stinky Pete tries to commend Woody after Buzz leaves the room, but is unable to cheer him up, as he is disappointed about what he had said to Buzz and the other toys. Stinky Pete watches Woody, who comes to realize his mistake and declares to Buzz he would return with him and the others. While Woody invites an uncertain Jessie and an eager Bullseye to come along, Stinky Pete decides to take the matter into his own hands, so he leaves his box, traps Woody and the others by shutting and sealing the grate leading to an air vent, and reveals he was the one who turned on the television the night before to sabotage Woody's escape. He then swears that Woody and the gang are to go to Japan with him, where they would spend eternity with him in a protected exhibit, away from children's reach.

The Prospector would go on to be the third ship project of the Cold Boot team, and in early phases was dubbed "The Miner." [9] A sweeping rags-to-riches story of survival and greed across American history following a family transformed by the Klondike Gold Rush

MISC began developing the Prospector in 2910 as an extension of the Freelancer project. With their success in survey and fire suppression, MISC was looking to expand the use of its chassis. With that aim in mind, MISC wrote off nine Freelancers which were utilized by the Cold Boot team to develop as they saw fit. [9] Overall, Le Clézio is exceptional at prettying up things to the finest detail. However, in doing so, it becomes a tedious read for people who need more than musing of what others would think of his adventures as a plot. This however, would not be the end of MISC. With new reports coming out of a massive discovery of previously ignored raw materials on Ferron II. [9]

Because of this, Prospector is also countered by hunters those excel at catching up survivors such as Evil Reptilian and Geisha. However this is a double-edge sword as if Prospector has a magnet and the magnet is already collected by the hunter, using the ability to catch up will only create more distance. Despite of this, it is a bit less likely that you collect the magnet already before catching Prospector up with the ability. Le Clézio does not so much describe things as evoke them by incantation. In reviewing Onitsha, his masterpiece, I thought that his fondness for the heroic roll-call came from Homer, but the first influences on the young Alexis are less elevated: the adventure stories of H. I found this frustrating and yet alluring. What will happen next, never seems to be the expected outcome. And yet, this dreamy feeling, set with the almost magical and exotic places fills the book with a beautiful awe. Stinky Pete was never bought or played with by a child and spent a lifetime on a dime-store shelf, watching every other toy be sold to their new owners, which caused him to grow bitter, selfish, and angry. He was later sold to Al McWhiggin, who never took him out of the box, likely to avoid damaging him. Since Al was grown up, he planned to sell Stinky Pete to a toy museum in Tokyo. Stinky Pete found this to be good news, if kids didn't want him, then being in a museum meant people would admire him and be filled with nostalgia for a toy they never owned. However, Pete had to wait as Al attempted to sell the entire Woody's Roundup collection to the Konishi Toy Museum. After he met Jessie and Bullseye, Stinky Pete befriended them while they waited for Woody. Adjustment: Removed the additional 50% chance of triggering calibration when decoding a Cipher Machine. Nerf: Decreased the stun duration on the Hunter and himself from the attraction by 32% when there are other Survivors within 15 meters.
