Don’t relate its volume to its small size, just because it’s a small speaker doesn’t mean that its volume is going to be inadequate. The speakers give out a sound quality that is both loud and crisp, so if you plan to burst out your favorite songs this speaker will do it justice. If you are looking for both portability and amazing sound, this is the way to go. It isn’t as if detail was particularly hiding in the first generation of the Qb from three years ago, but this is a more insightful listen. Instruments are organised tidily, and often with sparser pieces it is as if you could reach into the air and grab the notes as they’re emitted. I'm sure it will become clear to you when you have a go , it certainly isn't as hard as you may think it is . But sparkle it does, matching the richness of tone immediately evident throughout the rest of the register. The overall presentation is muscular but lean. There’s plenty of bass weight and low-end punch precisely delivered, but this Mu-so Qb never skews its balance this way or that. The Roland Cube Street is a portable amplifier designed for street performers and musicians on the go. Multiple Inputs to Support Any Performing Setup I saw a 'Vimeo' clip made by a gentleman by the name of Graham Foulston who has done exactly that and works well too ! There’s certainly value in giving the Mu-so Qb a day or so to run in before offering full judgement. Its treble response is lively and open, but there is a little brightness that takes a few hours to properly polish and make sparkle. He regularly posts videos on utube with his 'Lakeside' layout so you may be able to ask him .......assuming that's acceptable protocol.The larger type gives amazing performance for its size. I have several of my conversions running on Hornby Magazine layout which use this type and easily hold their own at exhibitions. You won’t be short of streaming options, either, thanks to the vast array of features included here. There is now Chromecast Built-in and Apple AirPlay 2 alongside Bluetooth for streaming from a device, as well as Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, Roon Ready and internet radio.
