About this deal

The cordless feature of this PSB 1800 drill provides the most benefits among the other features. The lithium-ion battery only takes 1 hour to make a full charge. The Bosch PSB 1800 comes with 2x 1.5Ah Lithium-ION batteries and a charger capable of recharging them within an hour. You would be hard pushed to be completing a task that didn’t allow for you to work continuously rotating the batteries as they need charging with this Bosch Combi Drill. The PSB 1800 is composed with the features of screwdriver and drilling. The double screwdriver bits allow you both screwing and unscrewing without any hassle. The overall feeling I got from this cordless drill is that it’s all a bit underwhelming. The design is unremarkable, and the grip isn’t the best. There are a couple of little features like the direction indicator that look good but don’t add to the performance. The drill isn’t very responsive, and the uninspiring drilling speed makes for slow work. Bosch PSB 1800 is lightweight thus making the task easier than ever. The battery-powered drill machine holds a lithium-ion battery with fast charging capability.

The combi Bosch 1800 drill is featured with lithium-ion battery technology. The drilling machine can drive hard to harder objects up to 10mm in diameter seamlessly. The grip shape is fine, but it’s not as refined compared to the ones on the Ryobi R18PD3 or the DeWalt DCD796. Bosch have been a bit stingy on the rubberised sections as well, as the tips of my fingers are trying to grip on to hard plastic during use. It’s just not as comfortable as some of the other cordless drills on my list. I would highly recommend it for the extremely good price compared to retail stores. No faults with the last one for over 9 years so you can expect this to be the exact same reliable all round purpose go to drill. 10/10 Seems identical just tiniest bit lighter smaller with the exact same feel as the original. So over all more compact with the positives of being that slightly more lightweight portable drill for all round work and home purpose. And I believe it will compare identical in use though the specification for example 38 NM of torque to it's predecessor of 48 NM Torque with extremely small difference in revolution speed of 400-1350 and previously was 400-1650 min-1 please see pictures.Integrated light makes the work easier with its optimum illumination. The PSB 1800 is provided with additional double screwdriver bits. It helps both screw and unscrew operation effortlessly. Being lightweight is one of the advantageous features which makes the drill more handy.

It can drill up to a maximum torque of 38N. Its speed starts at 400 revolution/minute and can reach up to 1350 revolution/minute.

Bosch Green PSB 1800 LI-2 18v Cordless Two-Speed Combi Hammer Drill Body Only In Carry Case

One of the big power tool brands, especially in the UK, Bosch have a decent slice of the market with their two broad levels of equipment. Their “blue” professional tools and “green” DIY tools vary massively in their capabilities as well as cost. I think it’s fair to say that the PSB 1800 fits squarely in the green DIY camp. The box also contains double screwdriver bits with a plastic case. The double screwdriver bits can be used in both screwing and unscrewing operation. This drill still proves to be one of Bosch’s best entry level combi drills, but Bosch has also released the Universal Impact Driver, which on first glance sounds like an impact driver. In fact it is more of a hammer drill but with impact driver features on the side. If you are after a dedicated impact driver there are certainly better offerings, but this might set to be a likely replacement for the Bosch PSB 1800 a few years down the road.
