About this deal

I just hate that the minute I get this running great I'm want to mess with it some more! ARGH! What say you? hey dabears The spark plug is essential for the power stroke of your Vespa engine. The spark ignites the fuel/air mixture causing combustion in the cylinder chamber. If the engine doesn’t get the right spark then this will affect the performance of your Vespa.

If you are not experienced with engines then it is wise not to start fixing all kinds of things. However, some obvious problems as described above can be fixed without doing much harm. Popped out the BE4 and put the BE3 in, drilled only 1 of the holes (recall my carb is the one where the idle jet is a plugged one). I'm already running a 120 main jet (yeah it's supposedly bigger than I need but my scooter did not like the 118).

5) Data Processing When Opening a Customer Account and for Contract Processing

When the mixer is within the si carb, there is the same influence on all holes. Some atmos go's out the upper and the lower. The bigger the upper holes the less atmos gos out the lower holes. If personal data is processed basis on an express consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) point a GDPR, this data is stored until the data subject revokes his consent. At these settings, the scooter runs excellent up to about 3/4 throttle. Turning the throttle from 3/4 to full leads to a subtle feeling of the acceleration plateauing and lagging. I believe this means the main jet is slightly too small. I initially tried a 72 main, but went down to the 69 when I found it to be running weak. My sense is I need maybe a 70 or 71 main to get rid of the full-throttle flatness.

YOU MAY EXERCISE THE OBJECTION AS DESCRIBED ABOVE. New filter is good, but the oil is important. I suspect without the oil, the filter passes more air than it should and leaves you lean. I wrote a piece on the si carb, mainly mixer tubes and there different effects. By opening up the air corrector to un restricted ambient atmospheric pressure, it alters the way the carb works, and allows the mixers to operate right through the rev range. Would appreciate pointers on what to do, what to adjust. I used fishing line to clean jets -- worked OK on most; there was one where I was not able to push thru --- will try copper from electric cord/cable next.I've been fiddling with my P200E since I put the Sito+ on it. Finally have it where it's running strong, and now I'm thinking about drilling the air cleaner mod, which will likely start me fussing with it all over again. I noticed that the "dust boot" around the carb is fairly torn. So I just removed it. Then there was a rubber hose ~ 1/2 diam just left open. Originates from the front of engine towards the spark plug, then plugs into the dust boot. Since I removed dust boot, then it is just an open end. Nigelthefish- I did not rejet, but I did change my air mixer tube from BE4 to BE3. I'm already running two sizes larger than most would say is reasonable (I'm at 120, most agree 118 is optimal). The plug looks fine, although I have noticed a bit of bog now just off idle. Have not had a chance to adjust the low speed screw, so will play with that tomorrow. It seems to run great and it feels like midrange is stronger than before. If there are no air leakages then it is time to focus on the carburetor itself. Since the air/fuel mixture is out of tune it needs adjustment. You do so by setting the idle screw and the mixture screw correctly. T5 just drill three 15 mm holes in carb tray cover. Never the air filter. These engines are fantastic as is. They just gulp loads of air, through the same size hole in the frame as a std px 125/150. If you kit a t5, take carb tray cover off completely.
