The book ends with the release of Screamadelica, which I never realised had been released on the same day as Nevermind.

If you look at that album [ Vanishing Point], Throb’s got an equal songwriting credit to everyone else. Bobby Gillespie has some great stories to tell about his life and his artistic journey up to the release of Primal Scream's album "Screamadelica.

Despite this, an interesting read for those interested in Scottish culture and British music- everything from working class life in 70’s Glasgow, to the Stones, Beatles, Pistols, Roses, Mondays, the Chain, McGee and Noel Gallagher.

I can understand that he has to slow down his Glasgow accent so folk from elsewhere can understand him (I have the same accent) but OH MY GOD! As this is a pretty debauched – well a lot of drug use – I can’t wait to see what the follow up will be like.
