About this deal

Road Pirate differed from the other models in the range in that it was not part of the regular Hot Wheels series. Skull Rider was a Mazda MX-5, Road Pirate was a Camaro Z-28, Bus Boys was the Ford School Bus and Dragon Wagon was GT Racer.

Products that contain small parts may pose a choking hazard and should not be used by children under 3. These 4 or 5-star reviews represent the opinions of the individuals who posted them and do not reflect the views of Etsy. Some of the models had fairly typical tattoo styles, while others were covered in weird, random designs. Keep in mind that anyone can view public collections - they may also appear in recommendations and other places. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average.

Dragon Wagon proved more successful than Road Pirate, as it was incorporated into the main Hot Wheels line in 1995, under the name of ‘ Speed Blaster’. In the USA the models were packaged on long cards with a small Hot Wheels logo and a large Tattoo Machines one. Personally, I’m not into tattoos and my involvement with them is limited to the ‘lick and stick’ types that used to come in packets of bubblegum. It was painted dark red with a pirate skull on the nose, a treasure map on the roof, plus swords and bones along each side.

The beautiful, art deco Talbot Lago, probably one of Hot Wheels’ nicest models, which originally appeared in 1988, was given the insult of being changed into Spiderider. The temporary tattoos that were popular in the 1990s had much more realistic designs and were printed on a thin film that stuck to the skin and could be washed off after a few days. It has to be said that Mattel was not exactly generous with the temporary tattoos; each pack included only one little sheet with four or five small tattoos.Select your tattoos Choose a template and fill it with tattoos 2) Customize your tattoos This software includes options for paint, stamps, text and cool special effects. Another unlikely tattoo design, it was painted dark blue with a series of coloured lightning bolts all over. Jam packed with 48 pages of awesome Hot Wheels activities, this book will get you on the fast track to fun! The printed design consisted of skulls with big green snakes crawling through them, a fairly typical tattoo design.

On the Back of the Blister there are images of Tattoo Machines that use different cars instead of the cars that actually came out. Quite why it was released as a Tattoo Machine is uncertain; perhaps exports to Europe had to be in multiples of 13. This was the only Tattoo Machine to have a variation; it could be found with the plastic body in either white or yellow, with the yellow version being less common.
