Afnan's 9pm is a great fragrance but when I first used it, it smelt very feminine and like a bouqet of flowers. If you are committed to the original , I understand, but don't get mad when you think that someone uses your signature compliment magnet scent, and they go like " ultramail? A bold and strong woody scent layered with indulgent floral notes – 9 pm Purple Femme is the perfect alluring evening scent. But even if you're more of a collector I think it would be a shame not to get this one - especially when you can get it so cheap if you catch a good sale. In the Base Notes, 9pm leaves a lasting impression with a combination of Amber, Patchouli, Vanilla, and Tonka Bean.This is a company that puts a lot of time into their stuff, you can tell just by putting the bottle in your hand. It seems that this fragrance appeals more to younger people, while most older people don't like it as much. As for projection and duration, I've seen some say that newer bottles do not perform as well as older batches.
I own 1 million Elixir, and that one is really really sweet as well but it never gave me a headache.As a negative point, I don't know why these fragrances sting my nose in the first 15 minutes, and 9PM also does this. Although it does retain some freshness with the fruit notes and lavendin, maybe even some geranium for a minty effect, the cinnamon, orange blossom and lily of the valley are present right from the opening and add to the warmth and density of the fragrance, and sweetness, transitioning with the vanilla, tonka, amber and patchouli in the base. Smells different in the air: which I was told smells "really manly and nice" but when smelled up close it is "really sweet like sugary vanilla ice cream" sweet. Allow Afnan 9pm to transport you to a world of elegance and allure, where confidence and sensuality reign supreme. This smells Fresh, Powdery and Sweet but goes well into the nose without having any nausea or headache.
The carefully selected perfume notes ensure that the aromatic scent accompanies you throughout the day and night, making a lasting impression.Smells very good, not overly sweet in my opinion although one of my friends thinks it is amazing with 3 or 4 sprays anything more will become overly sweet and annoying. With its invigorating opening, alluring heart, and sensual base, this fragrance is perfect for those seeking a sophisticated and seductive scent. Initially, I was considering tossing my bottle in the dumpster, as I really wanted to like this one.

I like this way more than I ever did Parfums De Marley - Layton and I've gone through two samples of it so far. I does have some pretty incredible performance although so if your trying to get people to notice i can promise you 5 sprays will definitely do the trick. This is my subjective opinion: I love this scent a lot and it really reminds me of a crazy nice smelling fresh soapy smell. I personally believe that people are too paranoid in the fragcom because this has NOT been reformulated, I have an older bottle of Ultramale and my 03/23 batch of 9PM outperforms it by almost 10 hours which is crazy, because some people say it lasts 30 minutes and it goes away, which couldn't be more far from the truth. If you have the money to spend, I definitely recommend grabbing Ultra Male, but for the casual collector looking for a budget friendly option, this fragrance is great.
