Well, one tiny dab on my arm filled the entire room with this awful aroma, and after attempting various methods of removal (scrubbing the skin with hot soapy water, rubbing with sweet almond oil and washing, washing with washing up liquid, swarfega, waterproof make up remover) I gave up and just had my arm amputated (I didn't, obviously). This reminds me a little bit of Le Parfum by Lalique, except where that one has bay leaf for the aromatic, this one has something woodier and more piercing. I would say it's an all-year fragrance but I do notice the hot/dry or wet weather can affect this more than other fragrances. Along with the 1970s-era Pier One smell, those resinous woods and mysterious unguents, I smell something I never experienced back then but would have loved I'm sure: a vanilla-chai latte.I absolutely love it, but am treading carefully when applying especially when I will be in confined spaces. But later the scent becomes rounder, sweeter, juicier, you can definitely sense the fruity notes and some ambery hints.

I’m not sure if other people overspray, of if the juice will become a lot more intense over time, but this was definitely not a one spray result. I was hoping to win the durability lottery, and I'd read that the original was more sweet and spicy and less sour.This is more sweet and savory, and the headier notes of ylang ylang and gardenia add a carnal tenor into the heart. This will seem very odd, but it’s like the most otherworldly beautiful color you didn’t even know existed in our spectrum under 20 perfectly, painstakingly applied clear layers, where the time required to achieve the look was about perfection and art. I know, both perfumes are green, but somehow this nutty feeling, the spices and the lightness of Green Jade make the whole composition just incredibly suitable to this "almost Advent weather", when it is gloomy chilly outside, just about to snow.
