The carrying handle on the boombox 3 is now metal… now personally I am indifferent about the look and feel of this carrying handle… but I still wish that the boombox 3 had a shoulder strap like the Xtreme 3. Like New - Original protective wrapping may be missing, but the original packaging is intact and pristine. However, it lacks a bit of low bass, so you may not feel the deep thump and rumble of bass-heavy genres like EDM.It's also better-built and is battery-powered, making it better suited for long listening sessions spent outdoors. With the first generation Boombox, the outdoor mode was louder but the bass needed some improvement.
