About this deal

Even Wacom’s factory calibrated tablet monitors are no exception to this and their colours will drift over time because colour drift is an unavoidable aspect of monitors as they age. At angles where it's going to reflect light, the white haze effect will appear and affect the contrast of the colours. Artist 12 Pro drawing tablet seamlessly combines the glass and screen to create a distraction-free working environment. If you have seen a review speaking about how the calibration does not work, it has been fixed already with the newer drivers.

Just go download the latest version directly from XP-Pen’s site and remove all other tablet drivers you have on your computer before installing it.Adopting fully-laminated technology, the Artist 12 Pro seamlessly combines the glass and screen to create a distraction-free working environment. or above OS upgrade in the security section, you need to put programs you newly downloaded into accessibility list first to normally use it. Personally, I rank the Huion slightly higher in terms of drawing performance because it has better pen taper for quick strokes, something I use a lot in my art.

The only thing that I can find an inconvenient – and just for some people – is the size, as it is quite a small tablet. Fortunately (or unfortunately), XP-Pen doesn’t specify the number of pen tilt levels they have on the XP-Pen Artist 12 Pro’s product page, so they aren’t lying about “having” pen tilt, but you can clearly tell it’s not on the same level as Wacom and Huion’s +-60 levels of pen tilt. The creative Red Dial interface combines 8 fully customizable shortcut keys, crafted to make the creative workflow as smooth as possible. However, it makes sense to me that he would not notice it since it’s not such a massive issue that you would become unable to draw on the tablet with it. The Calibrate button brings up the pen calibration which is a 5-point calibration using the 4 corners and the middle. Thank you for all of your meticulous art product reviews; your blog has been one of the best and most informative ones, so I've been coming here for quite a few years and watch your channel frequently.

This is one of the few small cons of the XP-Pen driver which has been around for a fairly long time now. I was considering getting a graphics tablet and I am struggling to decide between the Artist 12 Pro and the 15. The advantage of a pre-applied screen protector (over textured glass) is that you will be able to replace it in the future if it becomes worn down from lots of use.I already found out that the gen 2 is a significant upgrade over the original Artist 12, but I was wondering how it stacks up against the Pro version. another note, some other things I’ve noticed are that the feeling of the screen is really nice as you draw.
