South West Cerebral Palsy United Football Club hosted a fundraising an awareness day on Saturday at the fantastic facilities of Elmwood School /1610 in Bridgwater with £275 being raised on the day.

Minehead F.C. were pleased to support the event and sent two teams to take part, the under 15s and under 10s. Under 15s coach Adrian Shopland who has two of his sons Jake and Theo both playing for the South West Cerebral Palsy United F.C. with Jake also playing for Minehead under 10s would like to thank all the parents and boys for their help and support in helping to make the event a special day for all.

After a entertaining morning of football a fundraising raffle was held with plenty of prizes and a special mention to Exeter City F.C. who donated 4 match day tickets. Since the F.A spending cuts these events are vital to such clubs who are reliant on sponsorship so if you think you can help or would like more information on the club then please contact Julie Bowker This email address is being protected from spambots.
