behind a corner, located on the right side of the wall with the waterfall (collect this one while you are waiting for Selma to destroy a bridge) on a floating whale in King Snorley's layer, use the hand of buddha to place squid trampolines to obtain covered by 3 brown barrels, which you can find when gliding down the brown house, which you can grapple up The humor is not only present during the cutscenes; the levels themselves are conceived as parodies and contain plenty of funny locations, enemies, and assorted one-liners that are guaranteed to make you laugh. Video games are being mercilessly lampooned throughout the whole game. You'll explore hilarious levels such as Medal of Homer or Shadow of the Colossal Donut. You'll meet the famous designer Will Wright, whose evil plan of destroying obsolete 8-bit Simpsons games (because they "don't sell any more") you'll have to foil. You'll engage in paradoxical, metaphysically challenging dialogues with real-world people (including the creator of The Simpsons, Matt Groening!) and video game characters, and fight hilarious Simpson-themed "video game-ish" enemies such as undead Ottos or a dragon with two heads, those of Selma and Patty.

Minutes to Meltdown is a pseudo-3D action game in which the player controls Homer as he races to the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant to prevent a nuclear meltdown. The game is thirty minutes long (the player must get Homer to the power plant in that time) and has three levels (one at the Simpson's home, one on the streets of Springfield, and one at the plant).House, Matthew. "The Simpsons Wrestling– Overview". AllGame. Rovi Corporation . Retrieved August 16, 2012. What’s that? The Internet told you that the gameplay, controls, and camera work are shoddy? Fine, some of that is true. Holding out hope that the demo was not going to detail the poor camera angles, I was let down. The camera gets lost several times in each level and while in the Simpsons’ house, might as well be buried in Snowball II’s litter box. This could have been executed much better. Controlling the characters is easy enough, with no glaring flaws. Overall gameplay is pretty standard for this platform. It’s reasonably fun, but easily becomes a bit boring. Several challenges are made available after all episodes are completed. These include finding all the collectibles for each character, [1] finding all the video game clichés, [6] and in the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Nintendo DS versions, completing a certain task related to each episode's plot in a time trial. When I say "tell you to", I mean it almost literally: whenever you need to use an ability to solve a puzzle, the game conveniently shows you an icon of the corresponding character. What's the point of figuring out how to solve a puzzle if the game tells you exactly what to do? The only "challenge" that remains is to find the "hot spots" where an ability can be used. I'm also reluctant to see any re-releases of The Simpsons Game, Road Rage, or Hit & Run, especially if they retrospectively re-record the dialogue for certain characters. a b "The Simpsons Game Executive Producer Q&A". Deci, T.J. "The Simpsons: Night of the Living Treehouse of Horror– Overview". AllGame. Rovi Corporation . Retrieved August 16, 2012. After being zapped by a ray by Kang and Kodos, evil dolphins (from Treehouse of Horror XI) invade the pier , and Bart and Lisa need to help the Sea Captain to defeat the dolphins and aliens. It appears that when you levitate as Lisa in the last part of the level, the Sea Captain says dump the jellyfish in the water, Snorky goes into the water, so like the Treehouse of Horror XI episode Snorky is the king dolphin. The level ends with possibly killing Snorky and a good end of the level, until Kang and Kodos are in their spaceship waiting for revenge, and egg rolls to be done. The game begins with Homer having a candy-induced fantasy about a world of chocolate where he tries to catch and eat a white chocolate rabbit; upon waking up he is upset to find that it was all a dream. This game features cel-shaded graphics, in contrast with the "solid 3D" rendering used in the previous three Simpsons games released ( The Simpsons Road Rage, The Simpsons Skateboarding, and The Simpsons: Hit and Run). The PS3 and Xbox 360 versions use a "flattening" technique to render true 2D graphics, instead of the traditional 3D cel shading method, and the DS is a 2.5D platformer. Many cutscenes feature the 2D style, shown like a normal Simpsons episode (except for the DS version, which has 3D rendered cutscenes).
