About this deal

You can even buy a set that allows you to customise your Monopoly board to your own neighbourhood or your favourite TV show. Deluxe and Luxury

We were sent The Really Nasty Horse Racing Game from University Games to try out. As it is a game for ages 12 and up, I waited until I could get my grown-up nephew and my parents to help with the review. For most destinations there is the option to select an express delivery service instead of the standard delivery. Some unofficial rules, which makes the game even more interesting and nasty if you have less than six players. There's also a Really Nasty Motorsports game and a Really Nasty Golf game, I've never seen either though. There are things to watch: long shots can pay off hugely and if someone bets high they can really get ahead - you have to keep in mind which race is being run for how much prize money, who has how much funds they are likely to bet and trying to stop them if you can. I'm not sure that a runaway leader can be stopped once they pull off a huge bet. But they call it a long shot for a reason. Rating: Would I recommend The Really Nasty Horse Racing Game? Absolutely! It is a 5/5 from me, if I am really honest, if I had to score out of 10, it would be 10/10 Do you honestly have what it takes to be Really Nasty? Try this game out and find out just how nasty you can be. I promise, you will have blast and so much fun. The Really Nasty Horse Racing Game has been around a while, having been on the market since 1987. It was one of the first board games I ever played, and nearly caused my uncle and aunt to divorce while arguing over the rules during one memorable Christmas.

Remember, be cagey, cunning, whatever it takes to make sure you and your horse wins. You will need your wit about you as you will need to work out the odds when placing your bets too.Oh… My… Days! If ever there was a game that was created to bring out the worst instincts in you, make you become very devious and cunning, then it is most certainly and definitely this game. You need to be have your wits about you and your devilish devious and cunning plans need to be played to your best advantage. Forget friends and family when playing this game, you are out to win and that is your main goal.

Enjoy a day at the races when you play this devious family board game. Just as in a real race meeting, players race their horses around the board to win at all costs. Be devious, bet on your own horse or someone else's, but don't tell anyone who you've bet on! Also, for a roll and move with I found this to be a million miles above what I consider to be a real 'stinker in silk', Magical Athelete). Okay that's not a horse racing game, so that's an unfair comparison, but they are both light race games with screw you aspects. The only other horse racing game I had was the small copy of Knizia's Royal Turf, which was fun but got old fast.

How the horses are moved and dependant on what you throw on the dice, throw a 1, the horse moves 1 length, throw a 2, the horse moves 2 lengths forward, this is the same if a 3, 4, 5 or 6 is thrown. I really like it as well, a friend of mine got married (his third, her second) and they explicitly told everyone "no gifts", but since his wife has mentioned it every time she saw us after she played it, I bought it for them. For 3 to 6 players, ages 8 and up. Designed by John B. Reilly and Thomas M. Divoll, published by Avalon Hill. Your horse will need to come first, second or third, but if you are anything like me, there is no competition as my ultimate goal was to make sure my horse came first.
